Huntsville played it cool one night when Nobunny and The Spits performed at the Voo Doo Lounge. Well, actually it was hot as hell in that bar during the show. It’s always fun seeing Nobunny, but it was quite the addition to see The Spits at the same show!

YAY for summer!

We’ve been testing out a new point and shoot, and since we spend a lot of time at the store, I decided to snap some shots. We’re not going to get the camera though because the video doesn’t work 🙁

(I’ve been experimenting with self-portraits. Look closely at the record player and disco ball shots!)

So I decided to up the ante with Hi-Fi Weddings and host a Wedding Fair here in Huntsville January 29th, 2011. I’ve seen so many of my friends get into businesses that are intertwined with the wedding business, so I thought this would be a wonderful way to bring everyone together and help brides and grooms connect with like-minded vendors. I’m so excited for this and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together! If any of you guys have talents that could help in the wide world of weddings, let me know and we can talk details about the event! I’d love to have ya!
Oh…if you are on facebook, so is the event. I haven’t invited anyone yet cause I’d like to add some logos from vendors that will be there, but if you know you wanna come…voila!

Yesterday marked our four year anniversary! Steph came over half an hour before we had a photo shoot and took some of me and Andy. I’m just now getting to upload them because we spent a lot of time getting our Four Year Mix completed! You can read some sappy stuff and listen to the playlist right here on Hi-Fi Weddings.

We’ve been gearing up for round two (a whole new show!) of Short Shorts. Sara and I did some filming together last Thursday for one of the sketches. We also shot the pic for the flyer…lol lol. That mullet wig was somethin’ else though.

We had to take Tiny to the vet to get her womanhood removed…and this is how she recovered:

Our friend (Ashley) Martin declared a “birthday week” leading up to her actual birthday, but yet we STILL manage to totally surprise her with a party on her REAL birthday. It was quite amusing to see her so shocked! We even did the whole park-your-car-way-down-the-street-and-hide-until-she-gets-here-and-jump-out-with-a-cake-SURPRISE!

These were actually taken at a shrimp broil that happened during the “b’day week”

And this was her actual birthday (surprise party):

On May 6th we had the Jacuzzi Boys and Really Loud Hamburgers play in our store. It was awesome!

…and then a few days later I had a photoshoot with G-Side (if you like rap, you gotta check them out!) Huntsville just keeps getting more awesome! In fact, we’re having a show in our store on June 29th with G-Side and Thomas Function. And it will be Justin’s birthday. Oh boy!
