Knucklehead 02.01.

What a hard goodbye…

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to photograph every cast member in their costume. We had a GREAT turn out on opening night. The crowd really got into the play and laughed at every line we hoped they would and more. Saturday night was a tough crowd. There weren’t as many people, and I don’t think the overall energy was there. All in all though, it was wonderful.

Christmas Day 26.12.

We started the day at 8am by going over to his brother’s house. The whole family meets over there every Christmas for breakfast, Santa, and more presents (for the kids). We left there around 10am and had a few hours to kill before meeting my parents and sister to go see my Grandma in Madison. She’s still in therapy at a nursing home. It’s always hard to go into those places, especially at Christmas. G-ma was doing well, she was just a bit tired, so the visit was short.

Earlier, we looked up the times for Juno, and we aimed for the 2:40 showing at Monaco. Talk about perfect timing. Grandma’s visit ended at 2:20, so we had plenty of time to get to the theater. The movie was cute, but not as good as I thought it would be. I still really enjoyed it, but something was missing. I guess I hoped Michael Cera’s (Superbad) character played a larger part in the movie. Oh well. The soundtrack was brilliant, and really triggered my emotions…but that’s what it’s supposed to do.

After the movie, the sun was starting to set and it made the entire area radiate. The camera battery only lasted for about 10 minutes, but I captured what I wanted.

Recent December Happenings 24.12.

hung out with bryson (lol at that pic), franklin, joshua, and chance on saturday night.

it’s so nice to be able to walk downtown to hang out…especially 3am walks home. those are the best.

maple loves that rabbit foot’s fern. she’ll jump into the plant, then rub her face on the leaves with her eyes closed. it’s so cute. i think this picture is the best one yet to show the color of her eyes.

Axis of Evil Public Relations 15.12.

Today was the Winter Solstice Celebration at The Flying Monkey. It was a big day…and a ton of really great vendors. The hours were extended to 11am – 5pm. If you missed it this weekend, it will be happening again next Saturday (the 22nd). Same time, same place.

However, you did miss one thing.

Some cast members of Crash Boom Bang Theatre came to promote our upcoming show, Knucklehead…in our characters. It was a fun day. haha I hope we didn’t scare off anyone if it was their first time at the artist market.

My Very First 15.12.

I made my very first gingerbread house!

hehe…Andy added a transom window above the door so it’s like our house! AND the gum balls along the front are yellow, pink, and orange – the color of our 4 o’clocks out front.

old skool 13.12.

While I was going through all of my old photos, I found some I thought worth posting. These all go back 3+ years.

Andy and Josh in my old apartment on McCullough. It was a renovated attic, so the ceilings were slanted. I loved my little hobbit hole. It was a perfect fit!

This is actually the very first photograph every taken of me and Andy. We were in the Burger King parking lot, and I remember Andy wouldn’t let me take a picture of him smiling. I think we had only known each other for a few days at this point. I’m pretty sure we met up with Stewart, Tyler, and some other folks later that night.

Travis T. & Andy. That night Andy, Travis, Josh, Nichole, and I sat around Nichole’s old kitchen table and prank called people. haha. Someone came over (don’t remember his name) had us rolling on the floor laughing so hard at his prank calls.

Really old photo of me and Sadie on Monte Sano Mountain. She used to love to go on car rides, and when I lived on McCullough, we’d go up to the mountain some days. She’d let me hold her and we’d walk around without any problems.

f i n a l l y 12.12.

After 13 days of searching for, re-hosting, re-linking, and re-checking photos my journal is finally re-stored. That’s over 900 photos put back in their place. I did have to delete a few entries that I just could not find the photos for or they just weren’t worth it.

Now I plan on saving each page as a complete website so each photo will be downloaded according to each entry. I do not want to do this all over again.

I used that LJ Book program once. It turns your journal into a pdf, however, it did not do so well with the html laws and a lot of my entries looked like total shit. But this “save page as” method will work perfectly.

Oh, and I also gave myself another makeover. I like the look of graph paper and simplicity.
