Close Call 28.06.
The other day we heard a really loud crash, and thinking it was just the cats getting into something upstairs, we didn’t think much of it at first. Then Andy sees a huge dust cloud and a firetruck outside of our house. So then we wonder…omg what happened to our house? Did a cat fall out of a window?! Did the air conditioning unit fall out of the window?!?!
Then we see an ambulance pull up and go outside to find that a car had crashed into the neighbor’s porch!!! Apparently an elderly lady was leaving the salon on the corner of our block and accidentally hit the gas instead of the breaks, and slammed into the porch. It was pretty insane. Our neighbor was inside the house, so I could only imagine how startled he was…especially for how loud WE heard it. Thankfully everyone was ok (included the lady…she was just a bit shaken up).
