seventeen days 04.05.
Soooooooo FRIDAY is cinco de mayo…oh sure. La who? La Alemeda. and then a show. It’ll be some night. And Whistle Stop is this weekend. As well as another show Saturday night. yay for things to do!
We showed the photographer the garden this past weekend. He had no idea something so beautiful existed in Huntsville, nevertheless in someone’s backyard. It’s a 30 foot sunken treasure off of their house. I’m so excited because the more we talk about photography, the more I know we see eye to eye. Since I can’t do it myself, I at least want someone who thinks about it like I do. And we’ll be getting the images raw so we can do all of our own printing, etc. So that’s a huge plus and $$ saver.
The list has reached 101 guests, and I think 15+ RSVPs that have yet to be returned. eeee. I don’t know how we thought we could keep it at 75. I have yet to hear anything from Mr. Craft…who knows if he’s alive or what. I keep trying to make myself go up to blow job high to see what he’s up to, but I loathe the drive to Madison…and that prison of a school. Speaking of school – last time I saw my parents, they brought the slides that my dad and I made of my photo work for SCAD. It’s weird thinking what it would have been like if I took the SCAD Scholar Award and went there. The people I’ve talked to that have gone there either hated it and left, or have graduated only to realize it all seemed like a waste of time. Not to mention the possibility of have never meeting Andy. His return from St. Louis was in perfect timing with my switch to Huntsville. hehe…and now look…17 days!!!
ok, well I suppose I’ve gone on long enough – yeah.
