We had an impromptu photo shoot after the Crash Boom Bang Theatre meeting on Tuesday night. Thankfully there were just enough people to help hold the light and the reflector! Corry took some behind the behind the scenes shots (all of the infrared ones). The photo Matt chooses of himself will be turned into a life size cardboard cut out for the So You Wanna Be a Slasher themed Haunted House. He’ll also prolly make sweet love to it on the weekends. haha jk. maybe?
And here are some of the shots I took. We’ll see if any of these get used or if we have to do over. These are small versions because the real ones are super huge!

IT HAS BEGUN! Preparation for the Halloween Haunted House Show is finally here! A lot of us Crash Boom Bang Theatre members have been looking forward to this since it was first mentioned earlier in the year. For the past couple of days we’ve been shooting the trailer/infomercial for the Haunted House. It’s entitled “So You Wanna Be A Slasher” and it’s a slasher convention for those in the killing biz (all of you folks that come!) to learn new tricks of the trade. In the trailer, I got to drown! The first night took a couple of takes just to make sure we got it…the second night we decided to add a bit of stabbing and blood. I have to admit that the knife I gave Matt to use made me so nervous cause he did his stabbing motions so close to my face while I was underwater.
I only got to take a few shots because if I wasn’t drowning, I was holding spot for the scene…and Andy was doing sound. So we snapped when we could.
Vertical House Records’ First Release! A Rise Up Howling Werewolf (for those of you that love the Pine Hill Haints) 7″ featuring two really great songs. Record release show on the 22nd with Thomas Function…details to follow.
We got 500 pressed and gave RUHWW 200 for their upcoming tour. We’ll send some to distros, some to be reviewed, etc.

Saturday afternoon JD, Jon and I walked around to scout out locations for the Counterclock Wise “Screaming Jenny” Music Video shoot. We definitely found some places that will be perfect to film. The tentative date for the first shoot is Saturday, the 20th.
Yesterday I convinced him to go ahead and open his present…it’s a Wii with Wii Fit, Mario Kart, and and extra controller that came with a game. We stayed up until 3am last night playing. Today we’re meeting up with his parents and Granny to celebrate. Then, I’m sure it’s more Wii time!
