Yard Sales and Fall Drives 14.11.
This morning the yard sale gods were looking down on me…that or the coincidence god was. The other day Andy and I saw a ceramic garlic container for $10 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It was cute, and we use garlic quite a bit, but we decided to look around some. Also, I’ve been wanting one of those three tiered wire basket for fruits and veggies.
So today I did a little meditating before we left for yard sales, and the FIRST one we go to: the EXACT garlic ceramic holder. The second yard sale: the first thing I see is a THREE TIERED WIRE BASKET! Andy just looked at me and we started laughing. It was awesome!
This sunset made everything tinted pink for about 15 minutes…it was absolutely gorgeous!
Andy made his first ever pecan pie! omg it was SO good! We found the pecan pie dish at last week’s yard sales and it was only a buck…and it’s one of those pie dishes with the recipe at the bottom. So he followed it, and the pie was perfect!
I love our backyard trees even more when the leaves start changing!
