Guess where I am updating? My house! We are really livin’ now. Although I did enjoy the seven month vacation from the world wide web being in my home, I do have to say I’m glad it’s back. I always had access to the internet via my office, but it’s nice to be able to sit in my peejays and check my email…or update lj whenever I feel.
In the past few weeks we’ve had three pretty successful shows in Vertical House…one I’ve already documented. Here’s some from the other two. I have videos of at least one song from each band (but that’s a whole other post on it’s own).
Sleep Party played on November 7th
Last night, November 14th, the Can Kickers show was held in Vertical House. By far the best. And it was nice because Zak and Greg actually booked the show, therefore, we didn’t have to worry about all the clean-up and lock-up you typically have to do when you work a show.
Abby Banks, author (photographer) of Punk House, played a short film based on the making of her book.
