Why Are We Building Such A Big Ship? 21.05.

After the final show of The Bhagavad Meat Loaf on Saturday, Why Are We Building Such A Big Ship? played. They are so good, and it was better than the first time we saw them back in New Orleans…where they are from. I spent $70 on merch and stuff to sell in the store. Walt (singer and accordian) had been through Huntsville before with his other band and he said WAWBSABS (haha) would be more than glad to come back.

It was a fun way to end a fun show.

Corry Lee Smith took some great photos during one of the performances of The Bhagavad Meat Loaf. He’s hosting them here.

In other news, I found this site, and I thought it was pretty neat. You can send yourself an email in the future. Too bad you couldn’t send yourself a package or something…that would be awesome.

Yesterday, Andy and I went to Birmingham with our friend Greg. A couple of weeks ago I was telling Greg what kind of fridge I was searching for to complete my kitchen look. One of those old Frigidaire models that are short and metal. Lo and behold, he had one. And he said we could have it. For free. So, we took the truck down to B’ham and loaded the thing up. It needs a paint touch up, but so does our sink unit…so really, I couldn’t ask for more. Photos soon to come, probably.

Neal is downstairs right now working on the finishing touches of the frame work so we can call the insulation guy to come at the end of this week. Which might mean walls next week. Which might mean a house soon!
