\nThe other day we got snow! I know it looks pretty pathetic, because it kinda was. Gotta admit though, I was excited. However, the day didn’t start off that great. I had a photo shoot at 10am, but it was so<\/b> cold. I tried to call the clients to make sure they still wanted to do this, but they never answered. So, I met with them, and it was a disaster. Their kids had snotty, runny noses and were crying most of the time. I felt so bad for them. The session ended 15 minutes later. I got about 28 shots that I sent them, but we are definitely rescheduling…which will be great because the whole family can work the camera. The parents were both actors in LA, and their kids are total hams.<\/p>\n

Luckily, the photo shoot we had that afternoon went MUCH better. The little girl was so cute and she loved having her picture taken. You can see their session here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Stephanie and I are doing our first photo booth this Friday night at an art show at the mill. I’m really excited since this is an option we hope to add to our wedding packages. I ordered two remotes for my camera (one wireless, one corded) so I can’t wait to try them out. I’m hoping that with a room full of talented artists and their friends we can get some really great shots!

The santa nesting dolls came from Andy’s Granny and they are my absolute favorite piece of decor.<\/p>\n

The cardinal picture also came from Granny’s and the white deer came from an estate sale.<\/p>\n

So much for $40 utility bills! Time to turn on the heat. We actually went to price heater for our bedroom, but I think the fireplace is too shallow. I don’t think I want another free standing heater in front, since we don’t really have the space to spare. So, for now the radiant heater and electrical mattress cover work just fine.<\/p>\n
