I had my bridal shower the other night. Granted, I didn’t know the 4 women that threw it or any of their 30 friends that came. But hey – no complaints, cause there were tons of presents. And I had a handful of people that I did know, so all was well. We’ve started a “return” pile. I’m not really an expensive glass vase collector kinda girl. And Sadie would knock it over in a heartbeat, so I don’t know how much I’d want to even display them. Ah well.<\/p>\n
My dress came in yesterday! It’s early. It wants me. hah. I’m happy though cause it wasn’t supposed to come until May 1st, and that was cutting it pretty close.<\/p>\n
We had a yard sale last weekend at Andy’s parents’ house cause their neighborhood was having a huge sale. We made about $400. And we totally bought bikes. We’ve been searching thrift stores and the like since last summer, but nothing has seemed worth it. Well, we just went ahead and got *new* bikes. It’s so much fun. It was weird the first time back on one. I think my seat is a bit too high, but I fell an inch between the “teen” height and the “adult” height. I figure it’ll be more likely that I grow an inch…as opposed to shrinking one. I can’t wait for the pools to open…c’mon summer.<\/p>\n
