My dad and I spent two days de-frosting them. We&#8217;ve got our good ole&#8217; extension cord running upstairs so we can keep an electric heater on the upstairs sink plumbing. We hung a blanket over the opening of the foyer\/living room (we should have done this sooner) until we can find the perfect french door set&#8230;or until the threat of cold subsides. We&#8217;ve also had to use an electric heater in the kitchen, a heat gun to wave in front of the pipes, and the kerosene heater to protect the pipes along the walls. Luckily, it&#8217;s going to be a nice weekend because it makes me nervous having all of that going on. I am thanking my stars that we didn&#8217;t have a burst.
