It&#8217;s about a 45 minute drive from where we live, but it&#8217;s SO worth it. A few car loads of us headed out there a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. We spent the day on the river, had a delicious cook out, and headed back into town for a show in our record store (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/thestrangeboys\" target=\"_blank\">Strange Boys<\/a>, Nightmare Boyzzz, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/cuteashellyall\" target=\"_blank\">Cute as Hell<\/a>&#8230;mine and Matt&#8217;s &#8220;band\/group\/thing&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>We continued the fun the next day and headed to the Flint River, which is only 10 minutes away. There&#8217;s a nice clearing with shallow river water and an area to &#8220;lay out&#8221;. We met two boys that lived around that area and they told us all kinds of crazy river stories and talked about some of the things they&#8217;ve found.
